Privacy policy: Almost
Last updated: 31 October 2026
Almost keeps what you enter on your phone. The app itself never sends anything anywhere over the internet: it has no internet permission, and we do not collect, receive or share any of your information.
What the app stores
The events you add, their dates, times, colours and reminder choices, and your settings. The app keeps them on this phone, inside the app. The home-screen widgets read this same local data to show your events, and send nothing anywhere.
What the app does not do
- It has no internet permission and makes no network connections of its own, so it never sends what you enter to us or to anyone else.
- It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.
- It does not use your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
- Purchases and transactions are handled by Google Play. Google Play checks purchases and processes the payment; Night Desk Studios receives no payment details.
Android backup
The app lets your phone's own Android backup copy your events and settings to your Google account's cloud backup, so they can be restored if you get a new phone or reinstall the app. This is handled by Android and Google, under Google's own terms and privacy policy; the app does not send anything itself. The app keeps your subscription status and its own delivery bookkeeping out of that backup, so a restored copy starts from your events and settings only.
Backup files
If you choose Export events, the app writes a file with your events to a place you pick using your phone's own file picker. The file goes wherever you save it. That can be your phone's storage, or a cloud service such as a drive app; if you pick a cloud location, that service may store and sync the file, and that provider's terms apply to it. The app does not send the file anywhere itself. Import events reads a file you choose.
Notifications
If you turn reminders on, the app shows notifications on this phone at the times you set. The app creates them on the phone; it does not use a server to send them. When your events are restored to a new phone, the app skips that day's reminders once, so the restored events do not fire a second time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
